PAYMENT PLANS

Grace offers a monthly payment plan for all seminary tuition and course fees.  This is administered through an outside service and requires the payment of a small fee up from which covers interest for the entire term of the loan.  Once you apply for this benefit through the Grace Business Office you can make monthly payment on your tuition.

SCHOLARSHIPS

GRACE THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY SCHOLARSHIP
This scholarship is available to all students pursuing the two or three year programs. Grace Brethren students can receive $65 per credit hour and non-Grace Brethren receive $50 per credit hour. To be considered, you must be accepted into the seminary and turn in a GTS scholarship application by August 1 for fall applicants and January 1 for Spring applicants.  Students must fill out an application for this scholarship each school year they plan to attend.  This Scholarship is available to both distance education and regular on-campus students.

PARTNERS IN EDUCATION AWARD
Grace Seminary provides a matching scholarship to students who churches agree to assist them financially. The seminary will match the amount of the church's scholarship up to $500 per student per year. To be eligible, a student is required to be a half-time student in a two or three year program taking at least 6 or more credit hours per semester. 

Beginning in the fall 2008 semester, this program is also available for distance education and online students enrolled in the MA Local Church Ministry or Intercultural Studies degrees.  The application deadline for the fall semester is August 1 and the Spring Deadline is December 15.

GLIMPSE OF GRACE SEMINARY PROGRAM (ANNUAL EVENT)
Grace Seminary held the 2008 Glimpse of Grace event and scholarship competition on Friday, March 28.  Incoming Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 students were able to compete for 11 different scholarships as listed below.   This event took place during the afternoon of March 28, 2008 on the campus of Grace Theological Seminary in Winona Lake, Indiana.  All contestants had to be present to win. 

The following is a list of the requirements and scholarships that will be awarded.

Scholarship Awards:

  • Three trustee scholarships of $2,000 each
  • Three faculty scholarships of $1,000 each
  • Five achievement scholarships of $500 each

Requirements:

1) Have an application turned in, or you may turn your application in on the day of the Glimpse of Grace event on March 28th.  If you apply online we will waive the $25 application fee.

2) Planning to enroll for the Fall 2008 or Spring 2009 semester.

3) RSVP and attend the Glimpse of Grace Seminary event on March 28 and go through an interview process on that afternoon.  Time slots for the interviews are in half hour segments from 2:00 to 4:30 p.m. 
Anyone that has inquired to Grace for either the fall 2008 or spring 2009 semester will be invited.  Others that have not inquired to the seminary are encouraged to RSVP and attend.

4) Write an essay that is no longer than 500 words on the topic "Why I have Decided to Attend Seminary"  The essay must be turned in before your interview.

5) Only residential students are eligible for the scholarships.
